Fourth of July Celebration!

Our Fourth of July party was a success! We ate all types of yummy pizza including BBQ Chicken, Sausage & Peppers, Chicken, Bacon & Ranch, and Candian Bacon & Pineapple! I bought the pre-made pizza dough from Winco for a $1 (a steal) and each couple brought cheese and a topping. We threw the pizzas together, tossed them in the oven, and as they cooked, I gave everyone a "Fourth of July Quiz" to test their knowledge about the subject (and to give away a prize). I dare say, homemade pizza may be a good alternative to the traditional BBQ on the 4th!

Those treats on the top plate are delicious, cute and so easy to make! All you need are vanilla wafers, the whip cream you can spray from the can and some sliced up strawberries and blueberries! Easy assembling: 1) Get a vanilla wafer 2) Spray some whip cream on the wafer and 3) Top it off with the tiny fruit!
I handed out these little party poppers as everyone was leaving and heading out to the firework show!

Although this picture may not do it justice, they claim that this firework show is the "Best Firework Show West of the Mississippi" and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! It was about 45 minutes long and it felt like a finale THE WHOLE TIME. So if you ever happen to be in the Idaho Falls area for the 4th of July, I would highly recommend stopping by their amazing firework show for a good time!

Couples Campout

So remember when I mentioned wanting to go on a Couple's Campout? Well, we finally did! Here's the invitations for our guests:

And the proof we actually went:

Aside from some annoying mosquitoes, we had a blast! We had a beautiful drive to the campsite with our friends and ate yummy tin foil dinners once we set up camp! It was a great way to kick-off our 4th of July weekend.
