Happy Halloween!
Well Halloween has come and gone but not without a party! This year Steven and I decided to be Lucy and Charlie Brown from Peanuts - the costumes were easy enough and we already had the right hair color! Haha. Everyone came in costume and they were great! We had Peter Pan and Tinkerbell, a Couch and a Couch Potato, Mary Poppins and Bert (the costume contest winners), a Cowboy and a Cowgirl, a traditional Japanese girl and a Ninja and Rice Patties! I love it when people are willing to be a little goofy and dress up, it always makes a party instantly more fun! :) We ate lots of yummy junk food, played a Halloween trivia game (boys vs. girls), had a monster puppet making contest, and watched Clue in the theater room - it was tons of fun. We're sure going to miss our awesome friends when we move in December!

It’s More Fun When It’s Mini
It's it funny how it's more fun to eat when it's miniature? They're so cute and dainty! Makes me want to have a little tea party with my nieces :)

Name Cards
Ever since I was little, whenever we would have company coming for dinner (especially Thanksgiving) I would pull out the paper, stickers and markers to make everyone name cards. But nowadays I like to get a little more creative with the name cards. Here are some ideas for name cards that will hopefully spark some ideas for your next dinner party!

Table Runners
Table runners are the way to add embellishment to a table with or without a tablecloth. They can turn a drab table setting into a fab table setting! Here's some examples:

So next time you're look to set a nice table arrangement, see if you've got any extra fabric lying around, sew up the sides and throw it on the table for some added texture and dimension!

Balloons
Balloons: The inflatable flexible bags that can be found at most birthday celebrations. Since Pinterest, my eyes have been opened as to how balloons can be used in different ways to spice up a party! You'll never look at your bag of balloons the same! Here are some of my favorites:
